Ciao!!! I really enjoyed the week our finnish friends came here :) you are extraordinary and I miss you a lot!!! Thank you Heidi: you are a very good friend and I hope you'll come to Italy soon :)

I just want to thank everyone who participate to the exchange: teachers, students and families, from both Finland and Italy.

Hello everybody I,ve just spent the holidays in bed with pneumonia and I won't be at school this week so I want to post a brief summary of the week that we host our friends from Tapiolan Lukio.

Friday 23 30 Arrive Bergamo Orio al Serio meet with Chiara Sperotto and transfer to Ivrea probably arriving at 2 00 am

Saturday around lunchtime meet at Ivrea station and visit to Turin. Visit Museo del Cinema and look around the city centre. Return to Ivrea in the evening and (maybe) a pizza all together (families welcome?). This day is subject to change if some people have other plans. I'll keep you posted.

Sunday with host families.

Monday school at 8 00. Quick tour of the school and then all in Auditorium to hear the presentations by our Finnish guests and after that there will be a lesson about glaciers by Prof. Ferrero. The school principal Mr Cardinale will say a few words of welcome and there may be time for students from other classes to ask a few questions. Around 11 30 a walk through the centre of Ivrea to the Town Hall where the Mayor of Ivrea will welcome our friends to the city.

Tuesday meet in Ivrea at 8 00 am and then by bus to Cervinia. Whoever wants to ski can rent gear and ski, either downhill or cross-country, and the others can enjoy the delights of the Alps. Wear warm clothes and boots!

Wednesday ..to be decided.. either another trip to Aosta valley and mountains or Turin.

Thursday  at school. The Finnish students will be divided into small groups and can sit in on a morning of lessons to see how an Italian school works. If possible I will try to organise some specific lessons of interest for our guests. ( we will need the help of some parents with cars to organise a visit to Agliè castle in the afternoon)

Thursday evening (maybe) a get- together/going-away party if we can find a place to hold it, if not a pizza somewhere, I'm open to suggestions.

Friday 8 00 am another few lessons at school and then the Finnish students will visit the market before cathing the bus to the airport at 12 00.

This is the general plan which may have some slight changes depending on time and health.

Hi!

I’m a fan of Valentino Rossi, my friends know that.

One day I was sad and I was wondering if I need to change myself inside to be more accepted and especially  happy. So I wrote an email to one of my best friends telling her my problems and my fear. It was a long email, but the answer was even longer. It’s in those moments that we find our real friends! She said that I shouldn't change for anyone, that I’m special like I already am and, when I read those three lines I was crying, (I write them in Italian because it’s better to write quotations in your native language) “che cosa direbbe Valentino se scoprisse che una campionessa come te si è arresa dopo il primo fuori pista?”… I was left without words!! So thanks friend for being always there for me! You’re special! And all the other girls of my group,too. You’re extraordinary!!! 

Ahora me gustarìa escribir un poco en espanol!! Querìa sòlo decir que para mì los amigos son màs importante que los novios... entonces un saludo a todos mìs amigos! W le 7!

Hi!! We are Martina and Annalisa... We share our Finnish sister Minna and we are very happy to meet new friends and go to Finland! Annalisa has a great sense of humour and Martina laughs a lot! We were sitting near each other in  class, but our German teacher moved us apart... so now we are very sad!  Minna write to us soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bye for now

... We are Giulia G. and Roberta, commonly known as GGG (for friends Giu) and Freaky (or Roby as well). Our finnish sister are Sanna and Saana... I hope we could get in touch soon!

We are waiting for your arrive here in January and we think that this exchange will be an extraordinary experience for making new friends in a place so far away from Italy.

Hi!!! I'm Federica and I'm so happy to share this blog!!!

What can I say about myself? Well, I like rock music, pop art and in my free time I usually read (my favourite writers are J.K. Rowling, Ken Follett, Oriana Fallaci, Dan Brown, Stephen King, Khaled Hosseini and Luis Sepulveda), paint (in particular modern paintings) and listen to music (Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queen, Simple Plan, Good Charlotte, The Offspring, Avril Lavigne and Lucio Battisti). I'm not interested in discotheques and romantic films. I also have a cute cat, Jean-Bijou, since 2003 and I'd like to have a small dog.

My Finnish sister is Heidi and I hope that she will write to me soon

I'm giulia D i'm happy to share this blog with other "young people"..  somebody knows me already, others  not yet.  my name is giulia, i live in vestignè. I go to the same school as the crazy people that have written before me!!!
